One of those films where you forget you&#8217;re watching someone speaking a language you don&#8217;t know. Also, 1970s Brazilian pop music ROCKS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you own a movie theater, this movie gives you the opportunity to play a really mean prank. Tell people you&#8217;re showing &#8220;I&#8217;m Still Here,&#8221; and when they come expecting to see an Oscar-nominated film, show them <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oGqiV4DmqTc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the terrible Joaquin Phoenix documentary.<\/a> Then again, the director of that is a creep, so maybe not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can&#8217;t put my finger on it, but there&#8217;s something about this movie&#8217;s lazy parody poster&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ga2so.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/im-still-here-1-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"A picture of Fernanda Torres starting just above her knees, wearing a dark blue sleeveless blouse and a tan skirt.
