Botober Day 18: Baking Stalks

A crappy line drawing. A person stands in the center holding a baking tray. Two kids look over the counter at him.
Labels at the bottom read "BOTOBER 25" and "18:BAKING STALKS."

Weakest drawing yet? It sure is!

Botober day 17: drained bread crusts

Line drawing. A crust of bread with cartoon arms and legs crosses a marathon finish lines. Other running crusts can be seen in the distance. Text on the right reads "ANOTHER HARD WON VICTORY FOR FLOUR-JO."

Text labels at the bottom say "BOTOBER 25" and "17: DRAINED BREAD CRUSTS."

The stick figure visible through the hole is another bread crust. Both crusts have been running for hours, so they’re very drained.

Botober Day 16: medium clothedbell

Line drawing. Some sort of wizardy-looking dude waves his fingers at a hovering bell and tiny shirt. The wizardish guy is saying "You might think I'm using telekinesis, but I'm actually commanding ghosts!"

Text below the bell reads "Did I add a text balloon to cover my confusion of psychic abilities? Maayyybeee..."

At the bottom are the labels "BOTOBER 25" and "16: MEDIUM DRESSED BELL." Yeah, I wrote dressed instead of clothed,

Not enough sleep + short lunch break = whatever this is.

Botober day 14: lightly spather

line drawing. A crystal version of the salt bae guy is doing his salt thing and saying "I'm gonna spather all over you!" someone out of frame is responding "Not too much! I have high blood pressure!"

Text at bottom right reads:
One definition of "spath" is "a crystal with clearly defined facets. Like salt, bae

Labels at the bottom read "BOTOBER 25 14: LIGHTLY SPATHER"

Botober Day 13: pickled cubiwery.

line drawing. A man is faced down at a bar, his right arm raised with a glass in it. around him are various bottles and glasses. Text at the top reads "You might know about Dry January, but very few people know about the secret month known as Pickled Cubiwery.

A word balloon pointing to someone out of frame reads "What'll you have now?" The man responds "Yes."

On the wall behind him is a calendar showing Cubiwery, with a picture an arrow pointing at a wine bottle, with "YES!" written next to the arrow.

I probably should have done something with pickles and cubes.

Botober Day 12: lemuffir

line drawing of a lemur standing next to a muffin. The upper left corner has text that reads "TMZ EXCLUSIVE." The upper right side has text that reads "HOT NEW CELEBRITY COUPLE JUSTIN LEMUR AND MAGDALENA MUFFIN (aka 'LEMUFFIR') SPOTTED AT A VAN NUYS 7-11." The lemur is saying "WHY CAN'T YOU LEAVE US ALONE?"
Bottom of the image is tagged "BOTOBER 25 12: LEMUFFIR"

The idea was that the couple’s portmanteau name is Lemuffir, not that Lemuffir was the muffin’s nickname. I’m not sure that that was clear, but it is the most important thing you will ever learn.

Botober day 11: catsian spinach.

a drawing of a cat looking at a can of spinach.
Text on image reads:
CAT SEEIN' SPINACH
IT'S LATE.
I'M TIRED.
JUST ACCEPT IT.
ALSO: ONE OF MY CATS LOVES SPINACH. FREAK.
BOTOBER 25 11: CATSIAN SPINACH

Note to self: remember to draw these before 11 at night.

Botober Day 10: 1/4 can cool soup

Line drawing. At the top are the words "CSI: PANTRY." Below that is a can of gazpacho wearing sunglasses. The top fourth of the can is torn off and sitting to the right of the bottom. Text above the torn top reads:
"The victim is Jimmy 'Gaz' Gazpacho, a second shelf staple. Our unsub is a person with an extreme dislike of can openers."

"HE'S A DMAN MONSTER!"

"You need to cool down."

Text below reads "BOTOBER 25 10: 1/4 can cool soup"

There’s a good joke buried in there somewhere.

Botober Day 9: small sweet pipes

Line Drawing. Text at the top reads "WILLY WONKA REVIEWS THE BLUEPRINTS FOR HIS NEW FACTORY"

Wonka is at a table holding up a large paper, and is saying "Oh, this will never do! I couldn't fit a fat kid through that pipe."

The bottom of the picture is labeled "BOTOBER 25 9: SMALL SWEET PIPES"

This was an “oh yeah, I need to draw something before I go to bed” thing. That’s why Wonka’s office is empty and he looks like he borrowed a suit from David Byrne.
